The Clean Way smart card.


The company/employer

Provides all of its employees with cleaning credits on a chip card, allowing them to clean their work clothing at the employer's expense. The cleaning of each specific type of clothing will require a certain amount of credits, based on nationally agreed-upon standards.

       
  • Garment type (e.g. 1 pair of trousers + 1 jacket = 26 credits)
  • Cleaning frequency (once per week = 104 credits per month)
  • Season's needs (winter/ summer)
  • Card reload cycle (bimonthly, quaterly)

  • Provides each category of personnel with a number of cleaning credits, depending on the type of job the employee performs.

    Defines the length of the aftercare cycle, with regard to the frequency of the clothing's required cleaning.

    Pays the credits in advance to Clean Way.

     

    The employee / agent wearing professional clothing.

    Chooses a nearby dry cleaner belonging to the Clean Way network for the cleaning of his/her work garment. As all affiliated dry cleaners have Clean Way stickers on their shop windows, they are easily recognisable.

    Has his work garment cleaned and pays with the credits on his Clean Way chip card. This card can be used for cleaning on a specific number of occasions, during a previously defined period of time.


    The affiliated dry cleaner

    Installs a smart card terminal that automatically debits the number of Clean Way credits, depending on the cleaning service offered.

    Applies a nationally agreed-upon fee per type of clothing. All members of the Clean Way network apply the same fees.

    Gets paid for all the Clean Way credits that have been transferred by the smart card terminal.
